Camarinha Ice Cream

Corema album (L.), known in Portugal under the common name of Camarinha/ Camarinheira, is a shrub in the family Ericaceae.
It is a small evergreen shrub, dioecious, with height generally less than 1 m and complex erect branches.
Between July / September it produces small fruits in the form of white fleshy drupes, edible.

Geographical Distribution: Atlantic Coast of the Iberian Peninsula from Cadiz to Galicia and even in a small area in the Spanish Islands Cies and the Azores Islands (subspecies Corema album azorica).
Naturalized in France. Portugal is located in almost the entire coast, from north to south.
